Story Overview

We follow the journey of Akira Kokura, a high school student from a rural area. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she discovers a previously locked storehouse and finds a battered wooden sword inside. A mysterious voice advises her, “The second generation. My wooden sword, cherish.” What initially seems like an innocent encounter quickly escalates into intense challenges as others claim her as the successor of Musashi. With the stakes high, Akira must grapple with the reality of these sword games where defeat could lead to dire consequences.

World View

This narrative unfolds in a Japan reminiscent of historical times, where martial arts are revered. A school dedicated to descendants of legendary swordsmen becomes the setting for competitive training and youthful exploration. However, the students remain unaware of an impending organized battle that looms ahead.
